Ofsted Report

Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on 31st January and 1st February 2017.
 

A summary of the key findings in the letter are detailed below, showing that St Keverne has improved from the previous inspection to a GOOD school:

  • Current pupils are making strong progress in a range of subjects
  • Children make good progress in the early years
  • Leaders know their school well and have high expectations and ambitions for their pupils
  • The quality of teaching is good and pupils are making good progress
  • There is an established and strong culture of safeguarding so that pupils feel safe and secure
  • Relationships between teachers and pupils are strong and pupils want to do well and work hard
  • Pupils say: We don’t have bullying; we all care about each other
  • Attendance overall is above the national average
